With influences as diverse as Wittgenstein and Roy Lichtenstein, new tensions are generated from both traditional and modern meanings. Ever since I was a student I have been fascinated by the ephemeral nature of the human condition. What starts out as vision soon becomes corroded into a tragedy of temptation, leaving only a sense of what could have been and the inevitability of a new synthesis. What starts out as vision soon becomes corrupted into a cacophony of power, leaving only a sense of decadence and the chance of a new understanding.
