BS: My Hamilton capo

In 1962 I bought a Hamilton capo. Years later it disappeared and I've missed it. It is not a great capo, but it has sentimental value. Today I was going through a box of old stuff and there it was!

Now if my Duck call would turn up...

Isn't that strange, I've got one which I bought around that time and its just turned up.....chrome with a clear plastic cover over the arm and HAMILTON stamped on it.

The capo hasn't shrunk over time too, has it?

John, just yesterday you alluded to the fact that it was stuff the army put in your food that did that.

Once you start with the double entendres it becomes hard to say anything...

It isn't the "say anything" that should get hard............

I had forgot my teeth (uppers) at home. Went out to a bar. Fellow sttting there said, try these. Bad fit, I tried seven pairs of uppers looking for a close fit. Finally, a set that worked. I asked him if he was a denturist or dentist. He replied, no, I am an undertaker.

One great advantage of the Hamilton capo. If you slip your fingers through it, Instant Knuckleduster!
A comfort in dark alleys.
Wonder where mine is.

Wonder when was the last time that I WALKED down a dark alley.

A stout walking stick is a much better accessory from that point of view.

Every now and then I'll run across my first generation Victor capo. I was in a band with the inventor when he came up with the idea so I got one from the very first batch. Several improvements were made over the years and the current product is far superior to the original, but the old thing does have a certain sentimental value.

I found a sandy capo in my pocket once at Rehobeth Beach.Yeah, it was a Hamilton. It struck me that I really liked the sound of those two words and vowed I would someday use Sandy Capo as a pen name. Never did, though.

Sandy Capo- wouldn't be a bad name for a band, either.

Ya not supposed to just carry it 'round in yer pocket where it can get tangled up. Put it on yer instrument.
