Many thanks to all the organisers of this event in Brightlingsea.
I thoroughly enjoyed my day there.
It would be a lovely venue for a yearly event.

ECMW (English Country Music Weekend)
Nice to meet you again Alan. It was a nice weekend.
I agree making it yearly would be cool...to get a folkie thing in Essex...there's not enough.

Another big thank you from me too; all that organisation! All those spuds! And such a lovely location. Now to properly absorb all those tunes.

A yearly event gets my vote.

A memorable weekend. Seemed to spend most of it in Ye Olde Swan pub but also attended a couple of sessions elsewhere. Huge vote of thanks to all the organisers. Although I agree Essex needs more events like this, it's a massive burdon on the organisers and I cannot imagine it will happen yearly in our area. Traditionally ECMW has moved around the country from year to year.

It looks as though it will be on again next year at Brightlingsea,so that is something to look forward to.

Glad it's probably going to be Brightlingsea again but do we have a definite date yet for next year? Want to get it in the diary as soon as possible.

I hope you are right Alan. I'll get me bucket and spade out again! Please post on Mudcat if you hear any more news.
Cheers
