Yellowbellies 3 - An exciting new CD release.

Following the success of both Yellowbellies 1 (raising money for the BBC Radio Lincolnshire Gold Appeal) and Yellowbellies 2 (sold in aid of Click Sargent), Les Worrall has been persuaded to produce Yellowbellies 3. This time the charity to benefit will be Macmillan in Lincolnshire.

Every track on the CD has been donated by Lincolnshire singers and musicians. Some have come from well established professional performers and some have been donated by the stalwarts of the county's many successful folk clubs. Altogether there are 21 excellent tracks.

The CD is on sale for £10 and all of the work which has gone into its production has been done free of charge, so only the manufacturing costs will have to be covered from the sales.

A special event in aid of Macmillan in Lincolnshire is being organised jointly by Lincolnshire Folk and Faldingworth Live. It will be held in Faldingworth Memorial Hall on Sunday 3rd July and will include the official CD launch as well as a Ceilidh and singaround. Full details can be found at yellowbellies 3 CD

If you are not able to make the event and want to purchase the CD. you can call me and I will post it to you upon receipt of a cheque. The cost of the CD is £10 and postage and packing will be £1.50. My telephone number is 01673 843036 or send me an email to               les @   worrall .myzen   ,co .uk            Just leave the spaces out.

Anybody outside the UK can send me an email to               les @   worrall .myzen   ,co .uk            Just leave the spaces out. I will have to work out the cost in the currency of the country and the postage and packing.

Most Folk Clubs in Lincolnshire will have the CD's, so that is also a way of purchasing it and avoiding the postage.

Many thanks

Thanks Brian. Are you coming on Sunday to Faldingworth? I have a feeling you are very good at Ceilidh dancing :-)

Come to think of it, can you bring the band along as well :-)

Do you have my number?

Arthur, talking through Les :-)

I wasn't going to mention the schizophrenia - it's very dangerous potentially, don't know whether I'm talking to Jekyll or Hyde ;o)

Get off the phone and I'll order it and talk about Sunday!!!

I suppose we could always dig up Freddie!!

Do you think he wants to break free?

Save me, and don't stop me now. It would be a kind of magic because he's a crowd pleaser, a bit of an old fashioned lover boy really.

But he was my best friend until he bit the dust, shame really because we were the champions and were only playing the game. He was only looking for somebody to love even though he was a bit flash.

When I pick up the CD, I'll be able to say, now I'm here, we're looking for some great music or even a Bohemian Rhapsody.

Can I stop now . . . my head hurts?

Chat soon, take care

Just an update on how the yellowbellies 3 CD is going.

As at Sunday 7th August 2011 I have after taking out cost of producing the CD's , a profit of £161.30 and there are 42 CD's sold on top of that, but I haven't received the money yet. So when all money is received there is a total of £581.30 to go to Macmillan. There are still 38 CD's that various people have for sale and if they get sold, it could mean a grand total of £961.30. So if you want to help Macmillan and get a great CD as well, go out and buy it. Many thanks to all those who have bought one already.
