From: GUEST,Whispering Chris I sing this song in Sheffield - I got it off Ray Padgett from Barnsley and I don't know where he got it from, but it's become my theme tune and I'd like to know where it comes from: The second verse is most unchanged I think... If a king should sit beside me I would sup with my usual glee let muppets, marks and fools deride me Still, I'll free and easy be. Chorus Oh, let the world jog along as it pleases I'll be free and easy still Free and easy, free and easy, I'll be free and easy still. Many thanks - Whispering Chris. |

From: r.padgett Chris, I got it from The Broadside band (Grimsby/Cleethorpes) band ~ vinyl recording ~ which had John Conolly and Brian dawson as its members ~ Ithink it is in an EFDSS publication somewhere too Johnny Collins sang it but i think was short of an odd verse Ray |
