Whitby - Glaisdale Train

From: Raggytash

OK, I'll spell it correctly this time, the Glaisdale Train is on track again this year, I've been to see the new licensee of the Arncliffe Arms and he is happy for us the continue to use the venue, he'd been told to expect a visitation and is looking forward to us dropping in.

So the date is Sunday 21st August 2011, the train leaves Whitby at 12.44 arriving in Glaisdale at 13.08 a quick jog up to the Arncliffe for a session, the last train leaves Glaisdale at 16.26 arriving in Whitby at 16.56, just in time for early evening cocktails in the Endeavour.

looking forward to seeing friends old and new and hopefully raising a few bob for the Runswick Bay Rescue Boat, to date we have raised £1100 this year, if anyone would like to donate a raffle prize it would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Nick & Christine

Why does my brain keep trying to re-write the Ballad of Jesse James?

Raggytash was a man
Who had a guitar.
He rode the Glaisdale train...

Do we need to buy tickets in advance or will they let us pay on the train?
