He was having a great time jamming with the lads in the Engineer (Eric Leggoe was playing bass!). A very nice man, and a privilege to have been there. RIP. |

All, by the way, have roots in the work of Jazz fiddlers Joe Venuti, Stuff Smith and Stephan Grappelli, rather than in old trad fiddle tune players. Gimble is about the same age as Baker and played well a couple of years ago. At this point, you have to consider non-country fiddler Richard Greene the top man in this craft. |
