26 Apr 97 - 05:04 PM (#4343) Subject: Info re Song I Don't Know the Name of! From: Muriel Doris Years ago I heard a song a couple of times and don't know the name. The story seemed to be Mexican or South-western U.S.A. -- there was a powerful man who owned a mine, and who terrorized the people of a small town, taking what he wanted from them. One of the things he took was a woman who didn't want to go with him. Eventually there was a cave-in in the mine which broke both his legs, and she took his horse and went home. The words were very powerful. I'd appreciate any information anyone can give me about this song. Thanks. |
