Durham Folk Party 2011

No threads on this yet, but it's 22 this year - read all about it HERE.

Our input this year is to run the Ballad Session in the Dun Cow at 4pm on the Saturday. We are hoping for 100% Traditional, but we're very easy going with respect of what might pass as a Ballad, within very reasonable limits of course. So, hope to see you there.

Oh Bum - shan't be there after all owing to Rapunzel's throat infection. The Ballads was a ball last year too! Never mind, eh? I'm sure someone will step into the breach...

Have fun.

Ballads at 4 in the Dun Cow with Ian McCulloch. No better man for the job in my opinion - dear old friend and mentor whose kept this old chariot rolling along with the DCFC for the best years of my life, giving me some of the best times too, not to mention the love of my life... We met at The Colpitts in '93 and got together at the DFP in '99 - so - twelve years of Rapunzel & Sedayne.

One For the Old Days

Like I say, have fun.

Just home and recovering from a wonderful laid-back weekend. Weather and company perfect with as much laughter as singing.

As was said "We may take our singing seriously but we certainly don't take ourselves seriously"

Thanks to all concerned.
