It's August, so Heartstrings is on tour again. As you can see, we've secured two gigs so far, but we have room for more. Our aim was to play at next week's Saltburn Festival -we'll be there anyway- after winning last year's performers competition for fretted instruments. Playing the winning set in the evening program brought the house down, proving that our distinct and clearly different style would make a great addition to the festival line up. But no matter how hard we tried to get hold of any organizer by internet, it seemed virtually impossible, so by the time we finally got through in the old fashioned way, the program was fully booked. Still you can come and see us: on Aug. 15th, the Monday after the festival, we'll be in Aycliffe Village (Darlington area)and on Friday Aug. 19th at the Hinckley ACT . There's still room for a workshop or two, so if anyone is interested in organizing one, we'll try anything to fit it in.
