I am confident and secure in my position as "Grossly Scatalogical Irreverent Fockup." El Swanno feels that the acronym alone assures it, as in, "Geesif he'd only shut up" or Geesif he isn't stupid." ...or fill in the blank yourself. Spaw |

No problemo. Sixty points might bring you up to low average. More, hell, I have lots to spare (I'm nowhere near my credit limit--but I hope Y2K doesn't bring a sudden call for closing delinquent accounts). That I'm running a big deficit is reflected by the fact that I'm still here talking to you, when with us both on line at the same time, God could save his lightning and just zap us through our keyboards. OUCH! Holy shit! That hurts, your divine godliness! Jeez, Spaw, did you get that one too? --seed

25 Sep 99 - 07:50 PM (#117695) Subject: RE: Thought for the day - September 25th From: bseed(charleskratz) I dunno, Patsclaw. I think the good friar has given up on saving my soul, and the Christian Coalition would as soon see me dead (and my wife intimated the same thing this afternoon, but she'll resist the temptation to hasten my departure, I think...). As someone who follows his doctor's strict orders never to drink by never drinking more than a pint or two, I can't face the new millenium sloshed. Besides, it really doesn't start for another 15 months, anyway: 2000 is simply the last year in the 20th century. When it gets close to New Year's Eve 2000 I think I'll consult the Weekly News of the World to find out where the safe places are (where Elvis, Princess Diana, John Kennedy, and the world's biggest baby will be when the clock turns for good: them's people what's bound to be in the right place--probably boarding the same space ship that picked up the Heaven's Gate folks). --seed |

25 Sep 99 - 08:21 PM (#117702) Subject: RE: Thought for the day - September 25th From: Cap't Bob Somehow I've always thought of myself as being a bit of an eccentric, which when compared to an idiot wouldn't necessarily make any more sense than comparing a hippy to a bohemian. That being said I can only postulate that in the realms of Mudcatism it is lower than whale shit to try to embellish ones ignorance as criteria for any position of stupidity. It would be harder than caribou dung on an arctic out cropping to actually verify who is de most stuppidier when there are so many highly qualified candidates. I hereby throw my hat into the ring......oops that's the toilet. Cap't Bob |

26 Sep 99 - 05:56 AM (#117784) Subject: RE: Thought for the day - September 25th From: Banjer Seems to me that the only difference between an idiot and an eccentric is how much money they have. If you're poor they say you are an idiot...But if if you have riches untold, you are classed as an eccentric. |

26 Sep 99 - 08:30 AM (#117790) Subject: RE: Thought for the day - September 25th From: Cap't Bob Golly Banjer ~ if we only look at a catters bank balance and/or lack there of, to determine who is the Village Idiot, then I would be a "shoe in".
