Cotswold Morris in Somerset

Hi -
I have recently been experiencing strange and inexplicable urges to learn to morris dance...
It's cotswold that interests me (I like the white and the hankies and the jumping), and I'm trying to do a bit of research.
Ideally I'd like to find a side in (south) Somerset, mixed (I'm a girlie!) and preferably a younger side although to begin with I won't be too fussy with that!

I've seen the name Dr Turberville's floating about but all the info on that seems to be a bit old, I don't know if they're still about? There's also one in Poole that is specifically for under 30s which would be fab only it's Border Morris and, as previously mentioned, I like the white and the hankies :)

Anyway - if anyone has any pointers... I might even reveal my identity :)

Cheers, here's hoping!

Come to New Zealand - our side needs new dancers (we had 3 last week) and most of our dances are Cotswold tho' we do a few garland dances as well.
We'd welcome you with open arms!

Turbervillies are still extant - a mate of mine is one of their Muisicians and they were dancing at Sidmouth last week . Log in and PM me and I will give you what Info I can
