Rosehall Sessions {Scotland)

Just a wee reminder that I am running this event again this year, at the Achness Hotel, Rosehall.
We have had some great weekends over the years, and this year it coincides with a concert on the Saturday evening, put on by Rosehall Arts, in the same hotel. The guests are Mick Ryan and Paul Downes, an act I greatly enjoy, and well worth seeing. So there's an added incentive to come and join the fun.
It's the last weekend in October, from Friday evening, to Sunday evening. The dates are 29th/30th, and 31st of October
The phone number of the hotel is 01549 402013, Malcolm and Liz are the hosts, and you should mention you are coming for the music weekend.
A few have booked, but there's still plenty room.
There is camping space too, for the hardy ones!

Heh. I always wanted to use that line somewhere.

That sounds like fun. Sadly, I don't think I'll be able to make it, but I hope it goes well.

Hello, all, how's life up there ?

You'll be sorry if you miss it.

Be there or be square, as they used to say in the 70s

I am sorry, yes. I'll just have to be square.

Oh, hey, do you fancy a daft new tune for it ? Try http://richardrobinson.tunebook.org.uk/tune/5332

Kind of a perverse polka kind of speed. I learnt it from someone who claimed to have learnt it from a Rumanian outside the Systembolaget in Östersund.

A great weekend was had by one and all, and my thanks go to all who attended and joined in the fun.
Special thanks to Dave Goulder, and Mary his wife, who supported us yet again, in spite of having only stepped off a transatlantic flight on Friday morning.
Thanks to Ian and Trish Miller, and all the gang from Achiltibuie, along with all the others too many for me to remember, but if you were there, you know who you are ;-)
The concert by Mick Ryan and Paul Downes on the Saturday night was wonderful, and well done Paul for fighting your dose of the cold, and winning.
