All welcome...sing, play, both, or just listen. Anything goes as long as it's unplugged (though you'll upset Alan if you play "Streets of London"). |

23 Sep 11 - 09:31 AM (#3227700) Subject: RE: High Brooms Tun Wells Thur 22nd Sept From: GUEST,John from "Elsie`s Band" Rob, The evening for Alan and Carol Prior at "ELSIE`S" was a roaring success, just like the old days of 20 years ago. There were so many people who turned up to wish Alan and Carol their best wishes that both bars were occupied. The list of contributing singers and musicians as well as a huge dose of Alan and Carol themselves resulted in the evening continuing till after 11.30pm. They will be back to see us all on occasions, we can be sure of that. |
23 Sep 11 - 11:51 AM (#3227783) Subject: RE: High Brooms Tun Wells Thur 22nd Sept From: Rob Naylor Thanks for the heads-up John. I was planning to go there myself, but ended up having to go to Devon Tuesday and Wednesday for work, unfortunately. I've only known Alan and Carol for a short time (ie since starting to go to the Charlwood singaround) but loved listening to them both. |
