Hi Mr Happy!

This was described to me as a 'picking' weekend by someone.
What does 'picking' mean in this context, please?

Showing my ignorance aren't I? :D

Spent a lovely impromptu evening at the Cotton Arms a few years ago singing and playing, whilst on an overnight stop at the camp site on the way home from our holiday further up North. Lovely venue, as is the Dusty Miller, worth a visit.

Is it just sessions, Mr. Happy?

Any songs?

Of course songs as well!

Mr Happy's supergroup[s] the Gloom Band, the Misericords & our acapella outfit, the Heartsouls amongst those appearing.

Can you come?

Is it just sessions or are there organised 'spots'?

I gather its just informal sessions of the kind we're used to.

Some keen entities seem so thrilled by the prospect that they can't wait 'til Friday & will be setting up there today, so for any other prospective visitors, should be a music & songaround tonight!

Same again this weekend (April 27th-29th, 2012). Camping is behind the Cotton Arms.
