I had a great day- went to Portsmouth, NH, to get a taste of the Maritime music festival. Saw Bat Goddess and Curmudgeon, listened to Anglo sing and squeeze his lovely concertina. My dear husband, who is just learning about sea music, now wants to learn The Old Figurehead Carver, so I look at the day as a total success. The festival visit was cut short because of a dinner date with my 85yr old mother (aka "the energizer bunny: takes a licking and keeps on ticking!"). Sea music, seafood and chocolate- it was a perfect day! |
