The Uxbridge RNA - www.uxbridgerna.com is situated 2 minutes walk from Hillingdon Tube

(Met & Piccadilly). It's at the Junction of Long Lane and Western Avenue, diagonally

opposite Hillingdon Tube Station in the car park behind the shops.

The function room above seats 75, has a stage with PA and is beautifully decorated with

naval memorabilia. It also has its own bar selling wine, spirits and draught beer including

real ale, all at reasonable prices. What the singers think:

"Just back from Uxbridge - Very pleasant evening ! .... Acoustics in the room are very good ! And Bombadier for £2.80 !" - Terry Silver

"I thought the evening was very good, I do like the way you run the club" - Dave Artus

"What a super club and venue!....thanks very much for the hospitality....will definitely come again" - Jimmy Lee

"It is a good club. I enjoyed playing and hope the audience enjoyed it too - Barry Reeve

The Plan

We try to stick with the last Thursday of each month but sometimes have to shift to accommodate

good artists touring the South East whom we would otherwise miss. Also, from April 2011 we have

addied another Thursday, which will usually be two weeks before the end of the month event. It is

always best to check the programme, or next guest page which is updated regularly.

We aim to introduce singers evenings when we have enough regular floor singers to make

this viable. In the meantime, there will always be floor spots on guest nights, so if you sing or play,

you will be very welcome and we will try and fit you in if there is time. The policy will be flexible,

but generally acoustic as it is not a large venue.

Our aim is to grow a folk following in the London Borough of Hillingdon and to establish an

annual folk festival in 2013.
