There is a suggested donation of $12. On Wednesday October 19th he will be doing a house concert in York, Maine, at the home of Sue and Charlie West. Just to clarify, the Portland gig is a performance of 'Songs of Trial & Triumph', consisting entirely of Child Ballads. Seanachie Nights is a storytelling and music series, and you can find the description for my show if you go here and scroll down. The house concert with Sue and Charlie in York will be a performance from right across my repertoire (squeezebox tunes, chorus songs, whatever), although Sue will kill me if I don't do at least some meaty ballads! |

Good ballads and lots of new info about them, done in a very entertaining style. The evening definitely ended too soon for me. I was hoping to head to York tonight but today was a Boston check up for Kendall and, by the time we got back home, I didn't want to do any more travelling! |
