Her concert starts at 8 PM but will be preceded by an author talk at 7, and the admission covers both. The author, Scott Alarik, will discuss his new book Revival. Stone Soup is in the hall of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Pawtucket. It is a few blocks off Rt. 95 just north of Providence and just south of the Massachusetts state line. I have seen her many times at Stone Soup and elsewhere and have always thought she was wonderful, but this time she was better than ever. She and Scott have known each other for a long time, and their mutual respect was obvious. He joined her on stage for a couple of closing numbers. |
