Songs For The 99%

I've been thinking about teaching sing-along songs to be used for marches & demonstrations. Really easy to pick up on. Not just old ones though they are a welcome treasury. We've got a new generation on the streets. I think singing is more likely to attract bystanders than grumpy shouting. Suggestions? Thanks!

I `ad that Fl!p Breskin in my cab the other day with a furrowed brow and that ponderous look we get when we can`t find the solution.
I said, "Whassup Fl!p, you`ve obviously got something on your mind that `as got your attention?"
Back came the answer, "You`re right there Jim. I`m trying to come up with songs that the 99% can sing when they`re marching and demonstrating."
I said, "Fl!p, that`s a no brainer. It`s got to be "`Oo Wants to be a Millionaire"!!."

Whaddam I Like??

You're lots like Don Rickles who didn't know when to quit doing humour that just wasn't funny.

Besides their duoble ought year two-ought,ought,ought 2000 ...to two-ought-ought-nine 2009...there is a reason these verwöhnte Kinder are called the "Oh - Oh's." They were born into privilage and lack the mettle to survive their own mistakes.
SONG OF THE Oh - Oh's

    Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Gimme MONEY
    Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Gimme POWER
    Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Gimme RESPECT

But, no, no, no, no, NO.
I don' wanna Work, chica boom
I don' wanna Learn, chica boom
I don' want EARN, chica boom
Just .... Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Gimme

Personally, as a strong 99% member of the "baby boom generation" I find their whines...a tune out of time. Stick a wet willy in their ear, then maybe they will hear. PATHETIC.

Sincerely,
Gargoyle

Gargoyle's lyrics are not of the 99% but very much a "Song for the Upper 1%"...
