Last year while on holiday I read a book, historical fiction, about coalminers in W Virginia taking on their employers for better pay/conditions etc. It is not Matewan, but is centered around one central character who eventually just moves on from that scene. I would like to read more of this writers books, but can't remember who he is. Any suggestions would help. |
