26 Oct 11 - 10:34 AM (#3245053) Subject: Roger Knowles in Knaresborough From: GUEST I know that Roger doesn't court much publicity but I noticed, whilst passing the Market Tavern today, that Roger is performing there with Tony Martin this Sunday, 30th October from 3pm. Should be a good gig and, as a pub performance, it will be free! Roger |

27 Oct 11 - 11:46 AM (#3245589) Subject: RE: Roger Knowles in Knaresborough From: Jean(eanjay) Roger and Tony play in the Market Tavern a few times each year. It is not an organised folk session; they are booked by the pub to play for an afternoon. Mudcatter Mississippi Saxaphone used to play harmonica with them in these sessions and the ones I have been to have been good but of course people do not sit quietly and listen in a setting like that. |
