This has been a great series! The Rangers down to one strike from a series win TWICE and the Cards coming back................Will the Cards win carryover and make the Cards one of the best comeback stories ever? The Rangers win would be historical but the St. Louis comeback since August would be so as well. Texas has already delivered something I thought I would never see......the complete short circuit and meltdown, however briefly, of one of the finest managers in the game. I watched a bit of the game at bedtime but turned it off after they tied in the ninth. This morning I was pleased to learn that the series was tied up because that seventh game is always better than any of the others for sheer drama and people-watching. When a team wins in the fourth or fifth game it looks like they were unmatched and doesn't seem as impressive a win as when they're so well matched and go the distance. IMHO. :) SRS |

I don't know anything about the Texas manager but he made a few bonehead moves that enabled the Rangers to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. |

I'm a Red Sox fan, and MY stomach was in knots watching this game. I can't see how Game 7 can be any better. Great clutch hitting by both teams, and pitchers within one strike of victory. Yeah, that's what it's all about. |

All of us fans will remember the 2011 World Series as one of the best, if not the best, in our lifetimes,win or lose. GO CARDS! |
