Took three lessons from a voice teacher in 1965 (NYC) to learn how NOT to strip my voice, took his lessons to heart and have had little trouble since. I met Tommy Makem back at that time, and yes his voice was beautiful. He was also a very nice guy in person. IMO, some people just have the pipes. I envy those people. |
