"Have you had many?"; "No, just one or two" "Yes, at a stretch, it may have been a few!" "I'm feeling fine" "Just walk the line!" Could probably do with another verse or two, but I may have imbibed! 11 May 18 - 03:34 PM (#3923733) Subject: RE: Parody of I walk the line. From: PHJim I believe Roger Miller made up the first version of the "Twine" song, and though I've never heard Johnny sing it, Roger did sing it to Johnny on the Johnny Cash Show. Obviously others have made variations on Roger's version, but I believe he was the first. The New Christie Minstrels learned it from Roger and popularized it in the mid-sixties. |

I leave my fly wide open all the time. My exhibitionism's by design: Sick is my mind; I cross the line. (Key changes to Bb) I find it very, very easy to be crude. My songs about gay cowboys can get lewd. Right now I'm writing while completely nude! When I'm online, I cross the line! (Key changes to Eb) I scored some pig and human DNA And made some hybrids in my lab today-- Somehow that porcine person ran away! I'm in some bind-- I crossed the swine! (Key changes to Bb) Went to a party with some freaky friends Some dressed as Barbies, others dressed as Kens! Transgenders danced with other intersexual blends-- Drank too much wine! I crossed the line! (Key changes to F) I keep a clothes swatch on this d;:^o of mine. I leave my fly wide open all the time. My exhibitionism's by design: Sick is my mind, I cross the line!
