Great new website about Australian folklore by Warren Fahey.

I especially like this page with loads of links to maritime folklore, songs, and stories.

CJB-

There is a wealth of Australian and New Zealand newspapers now available on-line and I've little doubt that more fragments might be harvested at leisure sifting through them using key words or phrases.

I've had great success doing that with regard to my Cicely Fox Smith project.

Cheerily,
Charley Noble

Yes - we are already using the newspapers to learn that clog and morris and hornpipe dancing and quadrilles etc. was quite widespread in both countries. If only the UK newspapers were also online - for free.
