Coulter calls McCain a 'douchebag,' gets bleeped by MSNBC

Ann Coulter was repeatedly bleeped during a recent appearance on "Morning Joe" on Tuesday November 29th. Coulter called John McCain a "douchebag."

Apparently the assholes devouring their own.

As bizarre as US politics have become I fully expect Coulter to run for president one day.

Coulter is a little more cogent than Cain, Bachmann or Palin. Which is to say, she is completely unqualified. But Cain seems to be doing nothing more significant than a Koch sponsored book tour, the possibility for Coulter is there.

I'd be surprised if Coulter ever ran for office. Like Palin she makes too much money sitting on the sidelines lobbing in spitballs. And that way she doesn't have to be responsible for anything other than her ratings.

Saw it............Even though Joe is a Repub, most of his guests are from all over the board and get pretty decent treatment. His group of "regulars" are all pretty intelligent folks that are more entertaining than other morning shows, local or national.

I'm sure her brethren back home at Faux loved it and the for the rest of us the scrawny slut has already shown her ass on so damn many occasions it ain't even entertaining anymore.

If you're smart enough to earn a law degree as she supposedly has, why would you waste your time writing books and being a talking head saying shit any idiot commenting on Youtube could do a better job of? Like Fred Phelps, another lawyer and Christian whackjob, she's a one-trick pony. She's said the same shit over and over again so many times that anyone would waste time being shocked or annoyed anymore makes me wonder what's wrong with them. It's like watching a trained horse do the same dance for the 10,000th time and applauding like an idiot each time. Who cares anymore? She's a total bore.

A space cadet she may be, she still got 52.5% of the vote in the Minnesota 6th District in 2010. For a US election, that's a landslide.

How did Ann Coulter get any votes in any district when she has never run for office to my knowledge?

Why? Because she makes a shitload a coin and, as said above, only has to worry about ratings... no liability, no stress, no boring and tedious work... she's got the world by the ass on a downhill slide.

Spaw... I'll bet when she and Bill Maher fuck there's sparks and flames and smoke. Well, smoke maybe just for Bill... >;-)

I echo josepp (will wonders never cease?) Ann Coulter in an elected position? ?

Later-

From wiki:

In 1999 and 2000, Coulter considered running for Congress in Connecticut on the Libertarian Party ticket to serve as a spoiler in order to throw the seat to the Democratic candidate and see that Republican Congressman Christopher Shays failed to gain re-election, as a punishment for Shays' vote against Clinton's impeachment. The leadership of the Libertarian Party of Connecticut, after meeting with Coulter, declined to endorse her. As a result, her self-described "total sham, media-intensive, third-party Jesse Ventura campaign" did not take place.[12][13]

My reference was to Bachmann, who was referred to in an earlier post. Sorry for any confusion.

Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, and Sarah Palin: their mantra is that "conservative women" are specially targeted for contempt by the "liberal, lamestream media."

Most real "conservative women," however, don't get that contempt. Sen. Olympia Snowe of Maine comes to mind - as do GOP strategist Bay Buchanan, former New York Representative Susan Molinari, columnists Meghan McCain and Kathleen Parker, and former New Jersey Gov. Christie Todd Whitman.

The reason is that they are well-informed, take reasoned positions, and conduct themselves like grownups.

In some quarters, however, that just makes them secret "liberals."

Oh, wow. I now see what it is about 'liberals' that real conservatives can't stand. Today's conservative does not want to examine any thought or idea. They want only one-liners they can spout. Thanks, Lighter.

When I hear anyone use the term "douchebag" to describe another person, my opinion of the speaker drops noticeably, although in Ann Coulter's case it doesn't really have a whole lot farther that it can drop... ;-)

Kendall,

I don't when it is referring to Amy Goodwin and Keith Olbermann. But it is the height of intentional ignorance to refer to NPR or andy of the corporate media that way.

The phrase "Liberal media" is laughable. What it is, is it's a corporate media. Some of it's somewhat "liberal" some of it's somewhat "conservative", some of it's strongly one way or the other, but most of the mass media in the USA fall into what the rest of the world would see as a pretty right wing mode. The game, though, is to divide the public into self-perceived "liberals" and "conservatives" and keep them fighting with each other so they won't get the idea of joining forces and fighting the system itself.

No little Hawk. The idea of the media in the USA is to sell soap and cars and beer. That's why you see more Kardashian "news" than Kucinich news. The "Liberal vs Conservative" narrative is something created by the monied right wing fringe to prevent compromise and sensible governance.

It's not a phrase- its a lie & a delusion.

For sure it's about selling soap, cars, and beer, Jack. That's Job # 1 without a doubt. (Regarding the Kardashian girl...I realize she's BIG NEWS to somebody. I see her at the grocery store checkout every time I buy my groceries, alongside Jeniffer Aniston and Angelina Jolie. But I still have little or no idea who the hell she is or why anyone even cares!)

But it's also about manufacturing consent (when preparing the public for a foreign war or a financial bailout, for instance)...and creating division (when useful for those in power). In my opinion, it's about those things too.

I quite agree about the monied right wing fringe using the "Liberal vs Conservative" narrative to prevent compromise and sensible governance.

Person in question makes a living by saying outrageous things and having people talk about it. If we don't mention said person, she makes less money.

The word she actually used was "Dickweed." Have no idea what that means, but it is still an uncivil (I presume) term, and right or left is still unbecoming in public discourse.

Me thinks the problem with Annie C. has a lot to to with dickheads... She apparently hasn't had any lately and has become a tad on the cranky side...

What makes it worse is that even if she is gay that they are few females out there who are gay who would have any interest in her...

So she sits in a trap of her own making...
