Lyr Req: Klezmatics: 'Eyn mol'

I have it on the 1997 CD "Possessed" (with Yiddish, transliterated Yiddish and English translation) but it would be handy to have it in a form I can just print on an A4 sheet. Anybody got it? Google comes up with nothing.

Footnote: it seems from the sleeve notes that (unlike most of the album) it's traditional. So it ought to be on a Yiddish song website somewhere.

Am I correct in translating 'eyn mol' as 'One Time" or perhaps, "Once"?

What a great song! It sounds almost like a sea chantey.

EYN MOL TU IKH ZIKH BANAYEN
(At Least Once I Feel Revitalized)

Oy, eyn mol, eyn mol, eyn mol, eyn mol,
Eyn mol, eyn mol, tu ikh zikh banayen;
A gantse vokh horevet men dokh,
Oyf shabes darf men layen...

Oy, layen, layen? Layen, layen —
Layen, layen zol men nisht badarfn:
Shabes on khreyn kon men zikh bageyn,
Ober nisht on bronfn...

Oy, bronfn, bronfn? Bronfn, bronfn —
Bronfn dos iz mayn nekhome;
Un az ikh nem a kos nokh a kos,
Derkvik ikh mayn neshome!

Mayn neshome, mayn neshome? Mayn neshome
Mit mayn nekhome zaynen dokh in gantsn
Un az ikh nem a kos nokh a kos,
Geyen di fiselekh tantsn...

Tantsn, tantsn? Tantsn, tantsn? —
Tantsn iz gor a hoykhe mide;
Un az ikh nem a kos nokh a kos,
Tanz ikh mit a khside!

Mit a khside? Mit a khside?
Mit a khside iz dokh a groyse aveyre;
Ober az ikh nem a kos nokh a kos,
Hob ikh nit keyn breyre...

Tsu tantsn, tsu zingen, tsu shpringen -
Dertsu tu ikh toygn;
Az ikh makh a shnaps nokh a shnaps,
Bakum ikh klore oygn.

Oygn, oygn, oygn, oygn,
Oygn, oygn hob ikh klore;
Az ikh makh a shnaps nokh a shnaps
Iz shehakol nihyo bidvoroy

At least once I feel revita1ised
The whole week I work,
But on the day of Shabbath,
I permit myself a little drink of shnapps
And feel rejuvenated.

I feel a sense of solace,
My feet itch to dance, to jump,
And I sing for joy.

Sorry about the [abridged] translation. I'll see if I can find a better one. I almost can figure this one out, but not quite.

MIDI available on request, if you're nice.

So, would anyone like t attempt a translation? I get the general idea, but not enough to translate it.

There's a translation on the CD. I took along to the local klez group this evening and Simon Carlyle said it was wildly inaccurate in places. We meet again in two weeks - I'll post a fixed version of the Klezmatics translation after that.
