03 Dec 11 - 03:25 PM (#3267964) Subject: The Descendants movie / Slack Key Guitar From: GUEST,Eric Armstrong I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the George Clooney movie "The Descendants" featured an excellant soundtrack of Hawaiin music. Mostly Slack Key with music from Gabby Pahanui, Keola Beamer, Raymond Kane and Sonny Chillingworth among others, all very tastefully done. Pretty good (if rather unusual) movie too, although if you don't like the storyline or whatever, then sit back and enjoy the shots of the Islands and the beautiful music. Eric Armstrong |
