I think it will be too hard to narrow it down to just one, esp. since we had the THIS IS US cd project going.:-)

Just my 2 cents.

Definitely too difficult to choose - besides, I think such nominations would be far too subjective and personal. Then again, I feel the same way about most "best" lists, i.e.; Best Guitarist, Best Vocalist, etc..

In general, virtually all of the 'Catters I have met, including Skarpi, are mighty nice people. They are the most musically generous folks anyone could want to know. A great many are wonderfully kind and are exceedingly generous in many other ways. It would be a disservice to the rest to single out just one.

Whoops - Didn't see John MacK's post when I submitted my nomination. I think we sort of cross posted.

Just to make it clear - Lizzie is nominated by me as Mudcatter of the year. How about a seconder?

The person who has done so much for Mudcat this year has to be bradfordian.

He successfully took on a huge challenge to bring all our music together and raise a vast amount of funds for Mudcat.

Whether you were directly involved with the project or not, bradfordian deserves a BIG thank you from us all.

I would go along with bradfordian. That was a big job he undertook and he did it very well. He deserves a lot of recognition.

I think Will Fly deserves a mention. He spends hours making Utube videos to help beginners and entertain people with no financial reward.A nice guy to work with.

What an amazing universe that we have this many folks that all deserve it. I am honored to be associated. I was about to demand the fine and diligent and patient folks behind the CDs get it, but after being reminded of such goodness...

Hell yeah!

And I think I just earned another star for this year's competition. I just rebooted the server and read and posted to this thread from my phone... ON A FIRST DATE.

Might as well get them used to it early.

Oh... Hold it... Yep, The check has been requested... No dessert?

I deserved that. Pushed my luck.

The waitress is making eyes at me though. We live to date another day!

Hoo Ha,

Max

I'm believe that "caparisons are odorous" and my list would be very long but the team that did the work on the new CD set deserve especial praise as too many 'Catters winge and carp but don't offer any practical help or cash to improve things.

I don't believe in awards or lists of the best or worst 10 things, etc. There are many good people on Mudcat - let's all just enjoy their company.

Bob, you and I can never be as cool as Amos because of the hat. Even if we had hats like Amos, we would only be jumping on the Amos bandwagon, or hat wagon I guess you'd say.

Has a beagle
Boy, not girl
Whose name is Merle

I don't really care for awards than mean nobody else seems to count for much, but 1)Bradfordian did something that was nearly superhuman, and 2)beagles are cute.
