Help!!!

My pudder has been possessed by Mr. Hewlette Packard... I bought a copier and registered it and that's when Mr. Hewlett Packard... It's been 5 years and to see how much shit that Mr. Hewlett Packard has put on my6 computer is beyond anyone's imagination...

I have been trying to perform an exorcism for the last 4 hours but Mr. Hewlett Packard says "Bring it on... You ain't gonna get me outta you life... Hehe..."....

I hope that this thread gets into some search engines and get Mrf. H-P off my butt...

Does this have anything to do with their caps lock key being in the wrong place?

Bob, I just got a H-P printer, and you've got me worried! What exactly is happening to your computer?

They're two separate people, Bobez and both retired. Suggest you visit the nearest Apple store.

What is happening is that these guys are constantly creating programs that run min the background and slow my computer down... I have gone to the control panel and found the sumabiches and tried to eliminate them but they refuse to be evicted...

Grrrrrr!!!!

Could it be a virus?

Them HP guys don't have anything to do with what gets allowed on the machine. MY HP is 7½ years old now, and it has on it only what *I* allowed on it.

(well...yes, it can take some effort to keep that #$*&%!@ other stuff off, but as Bobert sees now, the effort is worth it)

Exorcism can be hard, but programs like Malwarebytes can help...along with an antivirus.

HP really pisses me off. I keep resetting the settings that are supposed keep HP from running diagnostics every so often when I leave my chair for a while. It changes the settings (same thing with popups from Rogers cable... happens all the time). Every time I turn my machine on I am told there is no driver for my HP printer (I have learned to ignore this idiot box). If I turn my printer off, when I turn it back on it won't work because the machine sees it as a new printer. It wants me to load the driver. It can't find one on the net. I put in the disk... "Can't do that bud... this driver is not supported by your OS." NOT SUPPORTED?? It's been printing for years!

Amos will be along shortly to tell you to get a Mac.

William "Bill" Hewlett died in 2001 and David Packard died in 1996.

They started the business 1939 in a garage behind a rented house in the general area of Stanford University which Packard had atteneded.

Try Start-Help-System Restore. Pick a date before you bought the HP copier.

Might work.

That would wipe out everything since... These guys have been on my pudder 24/7 for about 4 years now... I don't even have a HP printer... Haven't had one for years...

When Hewlett and Packard ran the company, it was known for quality, efficiency, and innovation. HP printers used to last forever.

One could wonder what happened. In poll after poll nowadays, HP ranks toward the bottom. Why did they give up their wonderful reputation?

It's time to reboot with that support disk you made when you first get the computer and which they no longer provide gratis.
