From: Rapparee my right arm's in a cast because i tore my right distal bicep loose and had it repaired last wednesday. it's both a real and virtual pain to use upper case, so i'm giving most of it up and typing hunt'n'peck. please feel free to insert upper case where ever you think it's called for, and forgive typos. thank you. |

I just tried simulating your typing conditions using my left hand only, and it is slow. In bed I quite frequently type one-handed on a 7-inch netbook. The under-size keyboard makes spanning almost any two keys easy enough, but left-handed is a whole different world of problems. |

From: Sandra in Sydney I taught my self to use mousie in my left hand 18 years ago when I permanently damaged my right hand by over typing. I remember the mouse scurrying across the screen & going everywhere except where I was trying to send it. Good luck in hunting & pecking & getting left hand to do more then usual. From: Midchuck I move the mouse from one side to the other and switch hands, every month or two, so as to avoid overuse injury to the wrist. Doesn't seem like any big deal. I'm strongly left-handed, but play guitar right-handed because I didn't know I had a choice when I was learning. As a result of that, I fire pistols larger than .22 right handed, because the tendon between the thumb and first finger of my left hand has gotten shorter from all the years of mashing the frets on down, and recoil bothers it.
