From: Georgiansilver It always amuses me when I run across an advert.. especially on Ebay for something which is misnamed.. such as:- 'Crocodile Shoes'.....'crocodile handbag' etc ( never seen a croc wearing or carrying such things)....... Also 'Elephants playing cards'..... Animals playing cards........ There are a lot of Whiskies that play cards apparently......... Maybe you have seen some amusing ones to add to these. "Crocodile" shoes doesn't have to be written "shoes made of crocodile leather" to be understandable. Moreover, easier to find in catalogue listings and indexes. |
