And when the chimp in the pear tree arrives, make sure you have some fresh bananas handy. Chimps need love too. And may every Dachshund get a fresh sausage or some other such delicious goodie wrapped up in fancy paper. They just love opening their presents. ;-) And may Lynn Miles sell a couple million more CDs, cos she sure deserves to. |

25 Dec 11 - 01:58 PM (#3279816) Subject: RE: BS: Merry Christmas Everyone It's here From: Ed T By the way, (just in case some did not know) Bay of Fundy has the world's highest tides, and this image is at a low tidal point, thus the boats (looks like scallop and possibly lobster) are "high and dry". |
|
25 Dec 11 - 11:23 PM (#3280016) Subject: RE: BS: Merry Christmas Everyone It's here From: ranger1 Ed T, ever since I learned that Fundy has 40' high tides, it's been on my short list of things I have to see some day. Just back from J-boy's dad's for Christmas. It was loud and raucous and absolutely wonderful. For the two youngest nieces, I'd made coupons for a one-day adventure with Jason and me. Watching the nine-year-old read hers and seeing her face light up with joy may have been the best present of all. Having Jason's 20-year old brother get excited about going to see Garnet Rogers with us in a couple of weeks was pretty cool, too. |
