27 Dec 11 - 07:53 PM (#3280791) Subject: BS: ?16 days wed?? From: Paul Burke Sigh Need (or is it Shin Aid) Oak Honour has smashed some records by remaining married for 16 days of 24 hours each before concluding that it was all a mistake. Must be a song in there, even if there was barely time for a snog. Seven nights married... off you go... |

28 Dec 11 - 12:21 PM (#3281068) Subject: RE: BS: ?16 days wed?? From: GUEST,Eliza Surely most people have heard her song "Nothing compares..."? Lady with shaved head, Irish, beautiful eyes..? Well it was her! I feel sorry for her. She's obviously searching for happiness and didn't find it this way. Loads of folk do rather bizarre things in their quest for some joy in life. Mistakes are made, it's not kind to mock. |

I mean, I know some of the most obscure musicians then don't know the ones that just everyone knows??? Been like this all my life... But I did look at the stuff on the web of her and she's a good singer and pretty and all that... Sorry her marriage didn't work out... Sounds like a very tortured mess she and the hubby went thru... 29 Dec 11 - 01:12 PM (#3281553) Subject: RE: BS: ?16 days wed?? From: GUEST,Eliza I'm sorry too, Bobert, I didn't mean to sound superior just because I'd heard of her! My brain has more gaps in it than a Swiss cheese, especially where celebrities are concerned. I'm always trying to think of somebody's name on TV and have to go through the whole alphabet to get the first name. I expect it's dementia! I agree with you, I reckon both people in the very short 'marriage' were screwed up and have problems psychologically. It's very sad. I've seen many examples of folk doing rather daft and inexplicable things to try and find peace and happiness. Most of them are desperately lonely. It isn't easy facing life quite alone. |
