BS: Remember me ?

14 Jan 12 - 11:30 PM (#3290765)
Subject: BS: Remember me ?
From: GUEST,?????????????

because after long unnatural slumber I have awoken with no memory of who I could ever have been before!!!???

Who was I ???

I fear I have been lost for far too long a time.
My sense of self and being is lost and weary.
Is this the dimension I so long ago began my journey from ?
Am I finally after such long and hazardous adventures back in my own time and place ?

So much more than I can ever remember has been wrenched from my memory.

This world seems so familiar.
But this would not be the first time my senses have been tricked by a doppelganger planetary climes.

I suffered harsh misfortune to be abducted by force from home so many eons since,
yet for all my fearsome misadventures and desparate escapades
I do not seem to have aged a moment in all these many long years?

What is my reason for my cruel temporal displacement and tenuous unknown fate ??

ok it might have been all the vodka and cider over xmas and new year...???

but it's still a long haul back to remember my last used mudcat ID
and begin to feel re-energised enough to embark on another new year of mudcat barminess...

That is exactly the kind of thing that would happen to someone after blowing a wart hog and eating the asshole out of a yak.   If you can find any pictures of that stuff happening, the person in the pictures would be you.

Hope that helps...............

You are a person who finishes a sentence with a preposition.

And a preposition is something to never be used to end a sentence with.

Well, if you are the M.G. feller, then the drunken stupor that you describe explains a lot but...

...I doubt if that you...

I'm going to guess that Bob06 feller, or what ever you called yourself who would start threads entitled "D string" or "ice cream" or whatever free association thread title that would naturally come into the mind of someone who was really drunk... Hey, not that I minded those threads but sho nuff pissed everyone else off...

That's my guess...

Not MG; he was trying to measure up to erudite Marty Peiffer standards, and would have done a better job on the wordsmithing. His PMs were works of art (and friendship).

I would guess PFR also, but this put me in mind of a (probably fictional) tale of some campaigning politician.

When visited an old people's home he asked a resident "Do you know who I am?" and received the response "No dear. But I can take you to Matron, she always knows who people are."

I suppose Joe or Max would be our equivalent of Matron, should we give one of them a call?

IMO probably no need-- I think Jeri nailed it, but if the OP sobers up/comes down and really wants to know, s/he can contact Joe per FAQ.

Old irony is okay, as long as you've got papers for it, but new irony is probably because of poaching.

We used to attach a label to little evacuees, a bit like a luggage label, at the start of the War. Perhaps when you come to yourself you could pin one to your coat? ("If found, please return to Mudcat..." etc)

Irony is most fun when you can pretend to not get it. That drives some people mad as a hatter. (That wouldn't be silvery or goldy either, but mercury.)

Jeri is probably right of course but I have the pictures of over a dozen 'Catters blowing warthogs and eating yak assholes......................well, actually I have 11......

The 12th is a guy who is at a mall and visiting the mall Santa on Christmas in 2010. This one is a video where he blows the Santa then eats the ass out of a reindeer portraying Rudolph in the attached petting zoo. It gets pretty good after that when he takes a piss in the cheap jewelry kiosk.................

As I am now you too will be
Remember Death, and follow me.

Rap... is that an alternative verse to...

YE MAR'NERS ALL

Penguin Book of English Folk Songs
(Lloyd & Williams)

Ye mar'ners all, as you pass by
Call in and drink if you are dry
Come spend, my lads, your money brisk
And pop your nose in a jug of this.

Oh mar'ners all, if you've half a crown,
You're welcome all for to sit down
Come spend, my lads, your money brisk
And pop your nose etc.

Oh tipplers all, as ye pass by
Come in and drink if you are dry
Come in and drink, think not amiss
And pop your nose etc.
Oh, now I'm old and can scarcely crawl
I've an old grey beard and a head that's bald
Crown my desire and fulfill my bliss
A pretty girl and a jug of this.

Oh when I'm in my grave and dead
And all my sorrows are past and fled
Transform me then into a fish
And let me swim in a jug of this.

That's one of my all time favs... a GOTTA be sung before the kitchen is cleared.

I am aghast...........

my eyes open on an unfamiliar horizon ???

but yet

it seems as if I have been here before.

though I may be wearisome from exhaustive interplanetary dimensional travel
my heart is aching for one simple objective signal that I may be home.

Is this the plot of earth that my mothers breast did succour me ?
The garden where my father did chastise me with his stern leather belt for one stolen scrumped cider apple..???
The potato field which yielded mother natures strong life giving vodka juice..???

Waking from deep dream for one second I a home in the warming comfort of Mudcat community Kumbaya.

then my eyes lapse back into dark sleep and I am away again gone into the depth of darketh despaireth.. is that you .. please not again...
no.... why... what do you want from my poor sad human mind and body...???

Continued next chapter...

one instant I am there then I am here.

Faster than light inter dimensional travel is at first terrifying
but over many years becomes easier on the body and senses;
never comfortable, but eventually a known hazard..

but whiplash and trousers and pants gathering up under force of fearsome gravity..
a wedgie beyond human physical tolerance and pain..

My eyes
do water every time....
