21 Jan 12 - 07:15 AM (#3293846) Subject: Paul Simon - mystery lookalike From: GUEST The Simon & Garfunkel documentary, Songs of America 1969, was on BBC4 last night. 29 minutes in, they're in a rehearsal studio, Garfunkel starts Bridge Over Troubled Water, and this fellow appears, yawning and clowning in front of Garfunkel. At first I thought it was Simon. He's wearing a dark fringe jacket. Then you see Simon and he's in a tank top. Later on they are both in the same shot. Who he? Was he part of the crew, or was he there to add a bit of intrigue to the film? Does anyone know? Fascinating film, by the way. Available on BBC i-Player. Splott Man. |

I then realized a lot of the photos on the Simon & Garfunkel albums had been retouched. Jay |
