I recommend it to those who are interested in this subject. Everything in it rings absolutely true to me. It's by Paul Williams and it's called "Bob Dylan - Performing Artist", also subtitled "The Early Years". It covers Dylan's songs and performances during 1961-73. |

I think they loved it because to our generation , it was great to read a book by someone who knew who Danny kalb and Spider John Koerner were. It was so long since I'd heard anything of these people - I was starting to think I'd imagined them. Since then - well so much has beeen written by and about Dylan - if he was a woman - I'd say hed lost his eternal mystery. Full frontal does that. Its fun, but Ive had a look now - I'll think I'll move onto Miss Next Month. Bruce Murdoch......! |
