Oddly enough, I got the news a bit late, because yesterday I was out in the freezing cold, doing a "camp fire" gig. There is so much to say about this cheerful, tough, gentle and prodigiously talented man. He was unique and extraordinary. When I have collected myself a little, I will post some reminiscences here and try to convey some sense of this wonderful man. For the time being, here is the only clip of him working - by this time an old man in his seventies: Phil Free |
