Hi All

Jerry's new album "Havoc in Heaven" will be unveiled and launched at the Teachers' Club, Parnell Square, Dublin at 8.00pm on Friday 17th February by the mighty Len Graham.

The launch will be followed by the usual great Góilín Singers' Club singing session.

Put this date in your diary now. It is a night not to be missed because it will feature a host of the finest traditional singers that these islands have to offer.

3.        The Colleen Rue
4.        The Fenian Blade

7.        The Connolly Column
8.        The Wheels of the World

Wow! Will look out for that. Unfortunately not in Dublin until a month later, but guess I should be able to buy it then!

Okay, so how do the Atlantically disadvantaged obtain a copy? Or is Jerry on iTunes yet?

Seriously, can we get it through CAMSCO (our friend Dick)?

The song 'Havoc in Heaven' was penned by Robbie O'Connell not long after the great Frank Harte died. The humour in the lyrics centers around the mayhem and craic that ensues when Frank arrives above at the Pearly Gates and starts organising singing sessions. It is the title track on Jerry's new album, and to hear this very clever Robbie O'Connell song is worth the price of the CD.

Living Ghosts/Isoldes Chapel is a more serious tribute to the late Frank Harte written by Pat "The Verse" Burke and well worth a listen.Looks like a great collection of songs. Well done, Jerry. Should be a great night.

Yes Guest, Pat "The Verse" Burke (a prolific songwriter from Bray/Ballybrack/Dublin) wrote Living Ghosts/Isolde's Chapel as a tribute to Frank Harte just a few days after Frank died. It's a great song and Jerry sings it very well. If memory serves me right Jerry and Pat worked together on the air.

ONLY a cd? This is a much waited for and eagerly anticipated album from the one and only The Unreal Jerry O'Reilly.
Only a cd? Frank Harte will be turning in his grave.

I had the honour of listening to the "rough uncut" version of this CD and I have to tell you it is only magnificent. Well engineered and a pleasure to listen to from start to finish.

See you on Friday Jerry.

One more day to go! Don't forget it's an early start, 8.00 pm. Interesting George should mention "rough uncut". This will be your last chance to see George rough and uncut. He will be getting rid of the beard and mop on the top to raise funds for charity, so bring yer camera for an old-time sake photo.

Yes, I wrote Isolde's Chapel over a few months when Frank died back in 2005. I had a different air originally, which didn't really work. Jerry rang me one day and suggested I try 'Skibbereen', which works very well. Funny thing is, Jerry sings this song more than I do now!

See you all at the launch
