08 Feb 12 - 02:11 AM (#3304159) Subject: RE: Review: Scotland the Brave Seamus Kennedy From: Seamus Kennedy Thank you all. Now knock off the gushing, please. Mary, the pipers are Alex McAdam, John Gustaffson and Dorothy Taft of the City of Alexandria Pipes and drums of of ALexandria, VA. The pipes are all Highland pipes - no mixture of small, Uilleann, Northumbrian or any other pipes. And the drummers were Helen Harlow on tenor, and John Callahan on snare. The album was recorded live, and the song was done in one take. Bruce, if you like the 3-Minute Hamlet, by Adam McNaughtan, you'll love his other stuff. Like you, he is a brilliant and clever wordsmith. Check him out. Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming. |

Also I use bagpipe music at work to get back at the people who make too much noise when I am trying to get work done. mg |
