March 7th at 8.15pm at the Grove, Seaton, to see the incredible Tim Edey & Friends. Winner in this year's BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards for both categories in which he was nominated, "Best Muscician" and "Best Duo" (with Brendan Power). Couldn't find anything recent about him in Mudcat threads, which is odd. General update on Jurassic Folk, 1st Weds is Guest Night and 3rd Weds is Singers Night. All is revealed at http://www.eastdevonfolk.org or phone 01297 20064.

I can't believe there's nothing on Mudcat about him either. Saw him at the Tom Thumb Theatre, Margate last night - what a genius! And a lovely stage manner to boot.

I don't like it much - you can see why people spend thousands on classic old instruments. Doesn't it seem a little bit shrill to you?

As you all seem to know so much - perhaps I am missing something.
