BS: Complaint box: aches & pains dept.

Previously screwed up rotator cuff frozen up because of not moving much because of lumpectomy: not conducive to guitar playing.

I don't like these clubs. Can I turn my membership back in?

Definitely not. And to compound the insult, Davy Jones and a whole host of old people (he's the only dead one, though!) are singing songs from the '60s on PBS. I feel decrepit.

(But still, way luckier than many.)

(The problem with those old people on PBS: they have way too much energy!)

I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and I feel like I'm ruled by my bowels every morning. People expect me to do things in the morning, and it's just so hard. Once I'm emptied out and feeling OK, I'm good to go until 3 AM - but mornings are really tough.
End of whine.
My son once wrote a song titled "Dad, There's a Little Phrase Called Too Much Information", so I think I'll call myself.....

Check out coconut for IBS..some people swear by 2 Archway macaroons per day. Works for some people and not for others. mg

I got too many to detail. I just turned 55 and I beat myself up physically since I started heavy work at 16 and played sports in my 20s and... so, here's my complaint. Why the fuck didn't anyone tell me to slow down and take it easy?

Not that I woulda listened. >;-)

Two hunters were dragging their dead deer back to their car. Another hunter approached pulling his along too. "Hey, I don't want to tell you how to do something... but I can tell you that it's much easier if you drag the deer in the other direction. Then the antlers won't dig into the ground... After the third hunter left, the two decided to try it.

A little while later one hunter said to the other, "You know, that guy was right. This is a lot easier!"

"Yeah, but we're getting farther from the truck," the other added.

One has to accept pain as a condition of existence. One has to court doubt and darkness as the cost of knowing. One needs a will stubborn in conflict, but apt always to the total acceptance of every consequence of living and dying.

Yo, Becky,

The P-Vine's shoulder locked up after her mastectomy and it took 8 rounds or PT and some exercises to unlock it but it's okay now... Check out PT...

Me??? I'm a f'n mess... Both thumbs shot from a lifetime of abuse and work and geetar playing and left foot shot...

But, hey??? How about my football team, the Washington Redskins getting RGIII??? Is that somethin' or what???

Bobert, I've got some exercises from the doc (prior to all this) that I should be doing... fortunately it was easier surgery than the full mastectomy, so 2-1/2 weeks in it's getting to a point where I can work on the exercises. Realized last night that the guitar angle was a new one that should be added to the list. Your crunchy thumbbones don't sound fun at all.

If you Canadians don't quit draggin' large dead animals around, you're gonna pull somethin'.
