14 Mar 12 - 06:10 PM (#3322931) Subject: RE: BS: Sarah Kruzan From: YorkshireYankee Hi alanabit, Thanks for starting a thread about this; it is indeed most unjust and should be shocking as well, except that -- as the years pass -- I (unfortunately) find myself being less and less shocked by such things (to me, "shock" denotes a certain amount of surprise...) Have been to the site and wanted to sign the petition, but as an expat Yank whose address is not in the US, am wondering if my sig will be admissible. Also, anyone who (like me) does not like "accepting" terms and conditions unless I have actually read them, please note: the petition's link to Change.org's Terms of Service does not work (I had a closer look and realised that the URL is missing a "/" between two words), so here's a link you can use instead: Change.org's Terms of Service P.S. You might get more interest in this thread if you (or a Mudelf) added a word or two to the subject to provide context; if the name doesn't ring a bell in and of itself (it didn't for me), folks may well not be intrigued enough to click on it. Maybe something like "US: Petition to free Sarah Kruzan"? |
