From: Bainbo Lately I've been having problems watchng programmes on iPlayer and wondered if it had affected anyone else. It started with the picture becoming jerky, but now the video regularly freezes completely while the audio skips back a couple of minutes and starts playing again until it reaches the point at which the picture is frozen. Then it starts playing regularly until it freezes again. I don't know whether my processor is suddenly not powerful enough; my connection isn't fast enough; or something else. I use a five-year-old iMac G5, which has a PowerPC proccessor rather than an Intel; a check of my download speed shows 4687 kbps. And I'm pretty much technologically illiterate. Any ideas? |
