There was a movie called Hootenanny Hoot in 1963. I never saw it, but it was panned by the critics and by any folkies who did see it. Here is a scene from the movie with the Brothers Four singing Darlin' Cory. I wonder who is playing the banjo; surely not the fellow doing the finger synching.
