01 Apr 12 - 04:35 PM (#3332181) Subject: RE: BS: APRIL FOOL From: Bainbo Here's an intriguing one that sprang up on me while searching the web for newspapers' April Fool hoaxes. It's pretty simple - but that's enough to keep me amused :) Do a Google search for April Fool, then look down the page for the Wikipedia entry. Everything as it should be. But now try the same search on Bing and look down for Wikipedia. Even stranger, it was doing the same thing on Yahoo until I checked again just now. |

02 Apr 12 - 10:06 AM (#3332511) Subject: RE: BS: APRIL FOOL From: Sandra in Sydney Sometime after 2am on 1st April I was half listening to the the Overnight show on the radio - bloke was talking about Earth hour He was some kind of organiser of the event & was getting excited & dogmatically saying everyone should turn off their lights, electricity supply authorities should turn off the power, lots of outrageous stuff & was getting more worked up. When he said a notorious right wing politician was supporting him, I realised it was a very early April Fools joke! That bloke is very anti climate change & would no more support the climate than vote for a rise in government spending on the poor! |

I sent him back a message reminding him what day it was. Then I fact-checked it on Snopes: Did 'The Simpsons' Predict President Trump's Death? It was found to be false. |
