So,those of you who've not gone away for a sun-drenched holiday in Clacton or somewhere can get along to Kivvo and see one of the most respected performers of American and British traditional songs. Born in Virginia into a musical family, Judy has been performing professionally since the early 1990' and regularly tours clubs and festivals in this country, including bookings at Whitby and the National, amongst others. She is a well-respected singer of the old songs and has a deep feeling for the tradition, presented through her vast repertoire in an entertaining and informative manner.Judy also has four CD's to her credit. Go to the bottom of Stone Close (it's very short) and through the gate for the Pavillion (that's on the right as you enter, parking on the left on the grass). Mick |
