I just started listening to them recently I quite enjoyed what they did with the songs of Woody. Just wondering what anyone else thinks.

Pretty good, although I'm not a big Jeff Tweedy or Billy Bragg fan. I also think the recent translation of Guthrie lyrics into songs done by Jay Farrar, Jim James, Anders Parker, and Will Johnson on the album New Multitudes is a more cohesive project.

A bloke I've never met before or after in a pub recently casually mentioned to me..

"If you enjoyed the 2 "Mermaid Ave's"
there are interesting out-takes in lossless Flac quality floating round the internet.

Billy Bragg & Wilco: Studio Demos and Discards 1998-2001 (FLAC)"

just repeating what he told me..

I'm not a huge Bragg fan either. Although I enjoy Wilco even though i never heard of them until a few months ago
