Err sorry Les, I will correct it as soon as I am able.
Yes its still on some great acts and it will be very inclusive as the venues are more conducive to having a sing.(or avin a squawk) depending on your inclination.

I'm going too!

GM, the website now has 'Les Sullivan & The Night Watch' as an item- have they really got together?

(The Night Watch being Andy Casserley and Ian Pittaway)

Hi all,

I was given the Les Sullivan and Nightwatch in one sentence so assumed it to be 'together' however I may have been mistaken. Please either ask Les or Marje if you need clarification. I hunted all over for info on Nightwatch and came up with a website which appears to be an organisation rather than a group.

I can say without fear of contraception that myself and Nightwatch do not perform together mind you it could be a whole new career................

(Hi Les- I did think it unlikely- unless you'd worked something up together on your recent trip to the Black Diamond!)

I have just been compiling the program and we have a very good guest line up. The exciting thing is the synergy developed by the people who come all singing together.

I am really looking forward to a lovely weekend. (In our new caravan too)

Campsite conditions.

We have had a dry two days and the main field looks OK. The going is a bit soft in places over the bridge:- Marje reports..

I was there yesterday and the field was good although a little muddy on the other side of the bridge ( don't try it in high heels)
We didn't have rain on Tuesday and Wednesday has started sunny and dry. Watch this space for another update Thursday

I will be onsite from Thursday afternoon so if you ring Marje she will update you. Contact details on the website.

Well, that was an interesting weekend, I have worn my wellies more this weekend than at any time.

Got off the campsite without a problem, most others did too. and of course the weather improved as soon as we started getting ready to move... typical!

Thanks to all who came. We met some really nice people. Had an impromptu dinner party which was a real laugh and got caught by the Viral Apple Pie. YUM!

Hopefully we will run into some of our new friends at other events. Just as an aside Grey Wolf were terrific.

Really enjoyed the weekend, particularly playing in the Saturday night concert, the audience participation in the Swan concert room is fantastic, it's a very nice venue.

Well done again to Marje and her team, also to the nice people who run the Swan, it makes a huge difference when the venue does what it can to help things along, they were great.   Shame about the weather but it didn't seem to affect things too much. Nice to catch up with some folks I hadn't seen in a while..

Thought BarlowCree were good - very promising "New Kids on the Block" -

Also a revelation how versatile Pete Grassby is - almost fulfilling a Keith Donnelly role!

Lovely Festival, third time there now and always enjoy it.

Great weekend thanks to Marje and all the crew... even managed to get of the field with a bit of a push!!!

It was smashing singing with GU4, the Laners and Pete Grassby at Sunday nights concert.

Absolutely, lovely weekend & huge thanks to Marje, Green Man and all the people who helped to make it happen.

Yes, the Swan and their people have done us proud again, excellent venue!

BarlowCree are great, aren't they? I've pointed them here and hopefully they'll be able to get around a bit more with a little help from our friends.

Till the next one.....
